She has always enjoyed and known the importance of eating healthy and regular physical activity but weight loss is so much more than that. So many factors contribute to the disease of obesity. There are many changes in healthcare over the last few years and she was able to treat patient's co-morbid medical conditions but not able to get to the core root of the problem. She did not have enough time to educate or counsel patients in lifestyle changes that would benefit their health. She decided that she wanted to focus and provide direct care to patients to help meet their weight loss goals to improve their co-morbid conditions. This is why she went into the medical field, to truly help meet patients' health care needs.
